The International Leadership Foundation (ILF) is a non-profit organization that promotes the civic awareness, public involvement and economic effectiveness of the Asian Pacific American (APA) community.
ILF Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee was founded in April 2018.The community aims to forge entrepreneurship, innovation spirit, and leadership the in next generation of APA community through a network of business and community leaders. Learn more

The key to entrepreneurship is the cultivation of innovative talents at a young age. The goal of the challenge is to explore and foster entrepreneurial talents and innovation-driven business strategies for the next generation.

About the Contest
The International Leaders Foundation
Entrepreneurship And Innovation Committee
The contestants will receive one-to-one counseling by the Committee and guest expert advisors. Various training courses will be provided to the participants and volunteers. The participating teams and volunteers will also visit entrepreneurial bases, research laboratories, incubation centers, and other such sources to benefit young and dynamic individuals who are passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation. In addition, the Committee will help the winning projects connect with business startup funds.
WHAT WE OFFER
Business Plan Challenge
To explore and foster innovative entrepreneurial talents at a young age, with the concept of “cultivating the next generation of entrepreneurial spirit” as the core.
The participating projects shall be innovative and combine forward-looking, pioneering and exploratory technologies with industries and cover the topics below:
• Social Innovation
• Technology Innovation
• Culture and Creative Innovation
The competition is divided into two groups: High School, College and Above groups, by the age of the core contestants.
Contestants enter the team as a unit.
Each team can have no more than 5 members.
One of core team members must be an Asian American.
• Winning teams will attend the awards dinner, where they will meet with noted entrepreneurs and distinguished government representatives. The Committee may reimburse the winning participants’ trip to Washington DC.
• The winning teams will also gain the support of the ILF Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee to connect with venture capital and the opportunity to visit businesses in China.
